My mathematical past

.) When I understand the principles of some formulas, I would feel so satisfied and try to go further. I do not need to memorize the formulas, just deriving them when I use them. Also, when I can solve a mathematical question that my friends cannot, I would feel I have made an achievement.

.) When I can't get the ideas (e.g.,"visualizing" the formulas) of some formulas and just apply them without any thoughts, I feel frustrated.

.) At this moment I do not have any role models of a math "teacher" but I want to have a math teacher who can visualize the mathematical theories and use daily examples to explain the theories.

.) I don't like a math teacher who just asks students to memorize the formulas, without explaining the principles of these formula.
